Revader Security unveils major upgrade to redeployable camera range.
Revader Security has announced a major upgrade to its redeployable camera platform following a significant redesign, positioning its solution as the most versatile redeployable CCTV system currently available on the market.
For the first time, Revader’s redeployable camera units now support virtually any camera head from any manufacturer, including leading brands such as Axis, Bosch, Dahua, Hanwha, Hikvision, IDIS, Panasonic, Honeywell and many more.
Previously, end users were restricted to a narrow selection of compatible camera heads, often forcing compromises in choice, cost or integration. Revader’s latest design upgrade removes these constraints entirely.
At the core of this advancement is Revader’s new rapid 3D printing facility, which enables the fast production of bespoke mechanical interfaces. These precision-engineered components allow seamless integration between any chosen camera head and the body of Revader’s redeployable units.
This development brings several key benefits. It gives customers complete flexibility to choose the camera that best suits their needs, helping to improve system performance and future-proof their setup. It also enables cost savings and greater efficiency by allowing redeployable cameras to integrate seamlessly with existing CCTV systems.
Augmenting this capability, Revader has also introduced an external SIM card receptacle, giving end users full control over their connectivity. Customers can select their preferred network provider and manage their own data transmission configuration, removing reliance on manufacturers or suppliers for ongoing communications.
This enables direct video transmission to a PC, cloud platform, or CCTV control room, while also supporting full in-house communications management for enhanced security. Customers preferring a managed solution can still order units with SIM cards fully configured and ready to deploy.
In addition, all redeployable camera units now feature Power over Ethernet (PoE) output ports, allowing rapid expansion beyond a standalone camera. Additional camera heads, specialist sensors, ANPR cameras, PTZ cameras, WiFi hubs and other accessories can be integrated using a single cable, enabling each deployment to evolve into a flexible, multi-device security network with minimal complexity.
Crucially, this redesign builds on the broader strengths of Revader’s redeployable camera platform. The units are engineered for maximum flexibility, while continuing to meet robust IP66–IP68 environmental protection standards and operating across a wide temperature range, ensuring reliable performance in harsh and demanding environments.
The ability to operate from virtually any power source - including mains, battery and solar - makes them suitable for both urban and remote locations. Integrated 4G, 5G and WiFi connectivity ensures reliable, real-time transmission in a wide range of conditions, while the system’s rapid installation capability allows deployment in minutes without specialist infrastructure. Cameras can also be quickly repositioned as security needs evolve, enabling users to respond dynamically to emerging threats, incidents, or changing site requirements.
This milestone reinforces Revader Security’s commitment to innovation and customer-driven design, empowering organisations to deploy surveillance systems that are tailored precisely to their requirements, without compromise.
