Revader Security will showcase their range of redeployable cameras and mobile CCTV tower at Security Twenty 17 London.

The company will be demonstrating their full range of wired and wireless CCTV camera systems, which are easy to install in virtually any location and can be rapidly repositioned to repond to changing security demands.

The compact solutions have been proven to deter crime, secure prosecutions through video evidence and provide surveillance in a highly cost-effective manner - unmatched by traditional CCTV systems which incur large infrastructure, human and maintenance costs.

Revader Security will also be showcasing their new mobile CCTV tower - a complete surveillance, recording and remote monitoring solution, ideal for deployment where little or no existing infrastructure is present.

The mobile CCTV trailer is perfectly suited both as a cost effective site security solution - in car parks, construction sites or remote locations - and for large area event CCTV, such as for concerts and festivals in open spaces. It allows authorities to respond rapidly to the immediate surveillance requirements of a developing incident. The CCTV tower can also act as host to a video surveillance mesh operating over a large area.

Set in the central location of Park Inn Hotel at London Heathrow Airport on Thursday 2nd November 2017, the Conference brings together senior security industry speakers and many of the main commercial players in the security technology sector.

Speakers at the conference include CCTV Commissioner Tony Porter, HS2 Head of Security Glenn Patton and Slough Council CCTV Manager Peter Webster. Manufacturer briefings will also be provided by Seagate, Hanwha Techwin and Hikvision.

Free entry is available to CCTV consultants, installers, end users, police, armed forces or security buyers by registering in advance with Professional Security Magazine.

CCTV users are increasingly seeking to fulfil their surveillance needs in a way that minimises the associated costs and disruption of installing equipment in challenging urban or rural environments.

Revader Security recognises these concerns and has developed a rugged, cost-effective mobile CCTV tower to complement the company's range of high performance redeployable surveillance products.

The Galaxy CCTV tower is produced from tough steel and features an easy-to-operate folding-arm mast which extends to 6 metres, providing an extra wide context in which video footage is captured. Each tower accommodates 4 fixed cameras with PIRs to cover a complete 360 view up to 30 metres, and a pinnacle high-definition PTZ infra-red camera for up to 100 metres. The equipment is securely fixed and wired-in through the inside of the mast.

CCTV operators benefit from being able to pre-configure the tower with the appropriate camera deployment prior to transportation. Once in situ, the tower enables CCTV operators to receive live and recorded video footage, and control the PTZ functionality, audio and a range of alternative cameras and accessories, while remaining highly durable against any attempts to tamper or damage the equipment.

The equipment deployed with the mast can be operated from a wide range of power sources, including mains, battery, diesel generator and fuel cells. Video and audio data is transferred via local wireless network or the 3G/4G network.

Revader Security will be demonstrating the Galaxy tower alongside its full range of rugged mobile CCTV solutions at the ST17 Midlands exhibition on 9th February 2017, held at the East Midlands Conference Centre, on the University of Nottingham campus. The dedicated security conference and exhibition is aimed at end users, purchasers and those who specify security products.

Revader Security has announced the launch of a smartphone app which allows security operators to control the operation of redeployable CCTV systems from any location.

Addressing the requirement for mobile CCTV to be as flexible as possible with the least hassle, the remote power control innovation from Revader Security enables users to power redeployable security systems on and off from a mobile phone, anywhere in the world.

The mobile app, available to download from the Apple Store, connects each mobile phone to multiple redeployable devices and allows them to be controlled independently. This capability offers greater flexibility to CCTV operators, who can place the devices in situ long before a pre-determined event, and delivers significant power savings by ensuring that valuable battery life is not wasted before and after the activity in question. The viewing period can therefore be many weeks, and potentially longer, with the aid of alternative power sources.

The mobile app utilises the worldwide GSM mobile network to send and receive text messages which act as instructions to redeployable CCTV systems. Not only is this a low-cost solution, but means that operators can activate and deactivate the units without needing a 3G/4G data signal.

Users can also use a range of approved third-party mobile applications to stream live and recorded footage from any number of authorised redeployable units – offering total control of a security operation from the palm of a hand.

A spokesman for the company said: “We are pleased to be able to offer the mobile power control app alongside our GSM power packs, so that users can enjoy total flexibility over their security operation regardless of their location. This innovation will allow us to capitalise on an increasing requirement for surveillance at public events, protests, festivals and concerts where CCTV needs to be in place long before the activity in question begins, and no other power sources exist.”

Revader Security has announced a vastly extended battery life and remote power control capability for its range of redeployable CCTV solutions.

Responding to an increased demand from law enforcement, local councils and event managers, Revader Security has introduced upgrades to its existing product range to improve power consumption and control.

Consistent with the company’s promise to incorporate the latest technologies into its product design, Revader Security has capitalised on the advent of new long-life Lithium-Ion batteries. The layout of the electronic components inside the unit has also been reconfigured to accommodate larger batteries without compromising on overall product dimensions.

The Transit product range can now perform continuously for up to 9 hours of operation as standard from the internal battery, and the addition of a remote
Revader RF Power Switch enables users to power the units on and off according to demand, therefore conserving battery life before or after a pre-determined event.

These innovations enable users to operate a compact redeployable unit from the standard internal battery alone - far superior to the typical redeployable camera on the market. For CCTV operators, this characteristic could mean the difference between only using redeployable units for specific events to more routine day/night-long deployment without fear of battery depletion.

A long internal battery life is a distinct advantage in itself, but adding external batteries and a range of renewable sources like turbines and solar cells can enable the units to operate for considerably longer – theoretically for months or even years, given optimal conditions.

One such device is the Revader GSM power pack, which augments battery life for a further 96 hours (or 4 days’ continuous recording). This capability makes the redeployable units ideal for use in situations where power is non-existent or unreliable, such as rural locations, large open spaces, or at concerts and festivals where an intensive yet short term surveillance requirement exists.

Working in conjunction with the Revader Power Control mobile app, operators are able to turn the GSM power pack on and off from any remote location, so that the units can be positioned in situ prior to a pre-determined event without wasting valuable battery life or requiring human attendance nearby. This, combined with intermittent renewable sources, can dramatically extend the readiness to respond.

The company is looking forward to demonstrating its full range of redeployable CCTV products and accessories at a number of security industry events throughout the year.

Revader Security will showcase its range of redeployable CCTV products in Ireland for the first time at the Security TWENTY 16 show in Dublin on Wednesday 6th April 2016.

Set in the convenient location of the Red Cow Moran Hotel in Dublin, the Conference will bring together top security industry speakers and is supported by a large exhibition of cutting edge security products and services.

Visitors to the show will be able to receive live demonstrations of Revader Security’s all-in-one CCTV solutions, which deliver the unique capability to undertake the full range of video surveillance tasks in any environment. Engineered to defence-level specifications, all products are able to withstand the most extreme environmental conditions, which make them particularly suited to hazardous outdoor environments.

The redeployable camera units provide a combined image capture, recording and remote monitoring capability while allowing users to rapidly reposition units to respond to changing demands. This enables operators to cover potentially large geographical areas with only a limited number of cameras, and provides a significant saving on traditional CCTV systems, which incur large overhead costs, cannot be reconfigured at short notice, and typically do not utilise wireless and mobile (3G & 4G) networks for video transmission.

Stuart Caldecourt, Managing Director at Revader Security, said: "We are looking forward to bringing our product range to Ireland in April and demonstrating how our redeployable CCTV solutions can deliver both financial savings and operational advantage to end-users. Please do come along and see our latest innovations for yourself”.

IFSEC International 2015

Visitors to IFSEC 2015 will be among the first to see live demonstrations of Revader Security’s updated range of rugged PTZ and 360 degree rapid re-deployable cameras.

The Revader models, which will be on show on stand D1350, are designed to be installed in minutes and take into account that they may quite often need to be located in harsh environments where no power source exists, which is why, for example, Revader Transit models can be powered by a 12v battery, whilst Revader’s ‘miniature’ Tuu model utilises PoE (Power over Ethernet). Defence-engineered in London, UK, all Revader products are constructed in a rugged, ballistics-resistant housing, rated at the rigorous IP67 technical standard and are designed for use in any environment.

Revader Security’s rapid re-deployable cameras collectively provide customers with the choice to capture HD or D1 resolution images via PTZ zoom and 360 degree cameras.

All models offer the potential for up to 2TB of video storage, and transmission through Wi-FI, Ethernet 3G and 4G connectivity. They all also utilise Wavestore’s highly acclaimed Linux-based VMS (video management software) which, amongst a long list of innovative features, includes the ability to de-warp 360 degree images. This allows operators to view de-warped images created from the recorded warped image and then control a ‘virtual’ PTZ function to track any activity.

“Demand for high specification, rapid re-deployable video solutions continues to increase and we are therefore delighted to have the opportunity to work alongside Wavestore at IFSEC to demonstrate how governments, local authorities and police across Europe can look to work smarter by reacting quickly and effectively to combat activity in criminal & terrorist hotspots,” said Stuart Caldecourt, Director of Revader Security. “We anticipate that our 360 degree models will, in particular, attract considerable attention as they can significantly reduce the number of cameras and personnel needed to monitor an area without any blind spots. All models are however, provided with all the component parts of a plug and play style, re-deployable solution, which has the means to record, store and transmit the captured images. Furthermore, the rugged construction of Revader’s products enables their use in an ever-widening spectrum of applications.”

Revader Security, alongside European partner Vida IP, exhibited at the HOMSEC exhibition in Madrid on 10th-12th March 2015.
